Five Easy Steps to Renting                                            Rental Application

1. Find a property

You can search for property to rent right here on our website. Just click the Rental Express link above and at the top right of the page you will find a “Search for Properties” button.

A favorite feature of our New Orleans rental clients is our Property Watch. If you sign up for this feature, our website will watch for the type of property you would like to rent and send you emails immediately when they come on the market. At the top right of every property description are links to “Log-In” and “Sign Up”. If it’s your first time using Property Watch click Sign Up. If you already have an account, click Log-in see your activity and edit your profile.

2. View Properties

To set up an appointment to view any of the properties in our Rental Express, click on the “Schedule a Showing” button on each property information page.

3. Application

If you would like to submit an application to rent a property one will be provided upon request. You should complete the application without omissions or falsifications. A Driver's License or State I.D. is required as proof of identity. All applicants must be 18 or over to enter into a contract (Lease Agreement).

Application Fee

Before an application can be processed, an application fee in the amount of $35.00 is required for each applicant. Application fees are non-refundable and must be paid in the form of credit card at the time the application is taken. The application fee for these rentals must be received before processing can begin. No cash accepted.

4. Lease Agreement

Once your application has been approved, your agent will write a lease agreement which will be submitted to the listing agent along with your deposit and rent. (The amount of the rent and deposit required is set by the owner/lessor of the property or his or her agent.)

5. Possession

The date you will be given possession of the rental property will be mutually agreed upon in the lease.

Pet Fees

Not all rentals allow pets. For those that do, a pet fee is usually required. That fee is set by the owner/lessor. If you have a pet you should discuss it with your agent.
